Housing carcass of an adult female tiger in a toilet in Almora forest division of Uttarakhand has sparked row. The tigress that died late on Sunday night was kept unattended in a toilet all night. On Monday afternoon its post-mortem was conducted. Wildlife activists have criticized this act and demanded immediate action by the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) that is spending billions for the protection of big cats. But, have failed to provide space for dead tigers. The tigress was found dead in Dabra area of the division. As it was getting late, the staff brought it to the range office and kept it in toilet. In the morning, the staff tied the tiger with ropes and pulled outside in open for the post mortem formalities. It's sixth tiger death within five months this year state.
