Ariana Grande had exposed the truth about her relationship with her ex Mac Miller and said it was "toxic".
Ariana, who recently split from the rapper after two years together, hit back at a fan who suggested she should have stayed with him.
In a statement posted on Twitter, she said that it’s absurd to minimize female self-respect by saying someone should stay in a toxic relationship because he wrote an album about them.
She also insisted that Mac didn’t actually write a whole album about her, just his song ‘Cinderella’.
Ariana added that she cared for Mac and tried to support his sobriety and ended the honest post by saying she will continue to pray for her ex.
