Two men will face court on Friday, June 1, after police seized illicit drugs, numerous firearms and millions in cash from a storage facility in Waterloo on Wednesday.

Acting on intelligence gathered over several months, Strike Force Raptor officers raided the Waterloo facility to unearth $2.75 million in cash, 1.15 kilograms of cocaine, 1.1 kilograms of ice and 13 firearms including 5 sub-machine guns, two semi-automatic pistols and two revolvers.

A 34-year-old man was arrested at Sydney Airport on Thursday as he arrived on a flight from New Zealand; another 32-year-old man was arrested in Alexandria. They were refused bail and will appear at Sutherland Local Court on Friday. Credit: NSW Police Force via Storyful
