According to a recent study, metabolically healthy obese women have a higher risk of developing cardiovascular disease compared to women of lower weight. Researchers studied data from 90,257 women in the United States from 1980 to 2010 for cardiovascular disease. Their findings were published in The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology journal.
