A funnel cloud was captured on camera in Wolf Lake, Illinois, on Thursday, May 31.

A possible tornado crossed the Mississippi River from Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Wolf Lake, Illinois, on Thursday WeatherNation reported.

A tornado watch was in effect for parts of Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky and Arkansas until 8 pm CST on May 31, while a severe thunderstorm watch was in place on the evening of May 31 until 2 am CST on Friday, June 1.
