Petrified Simon Barnsley, 58, bravely defended his home in the market town of Shrewsbury, Shrops., which he says has been taken over by drug dealers and addicts. He was awoken by a noise outside his £165,000 semi-detached three bedroomed house at around 1am on July 25. When Simon checked his CCTV monitor he was stunned to see two trespassers lurking outside his property trying to break in to his basement.
