Robert Boon, 50, says he felt 'humiliated' and after being summoned to an interview by the Department for Work and Pensions. It followed a dart-a-thon charity event he organised which raised £500 for guide dogs. He says somebody spotted the story in the Herald Express and informed the DWP that he should not get disability living allowance if he was able to throw darts at a board. Mr Boon scored over 61,000 points as he threw darts at the Pond Coffee Shop in Victoria Square. He says the repetitive action of throwing means he can be fairly accurate, even if he can only see the shadow of the board.
