Security company boss Vince Cappellie was targeted outside his home in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham. The dramatic footage shows Mr Cappellie kissing wife Jennifer, 47, goodbye as he was about to leave for work. Suddenly two men in balaclavas rush from a white Ford Kuga parked nearby, began hitting him and demanded the keys to his Audi Q7 parked in the drive. Father-of-two Mr Cappellie, 57, bravely refused and he was violently attacked with heavy iron bars. The men pummelled him with their weapons, and he tries to get away, clutching his keys - but slips after jumping over a hedge. One man then got into the Audi Q7 as Mr Cappellie lay injured on the ground. As they reversed off the drive Jennifer, who had been trying to call neighbours to help, got into her own car and bravely tried to cut them off, going so fast that she left tyre rubber on the drive. She nearly succeeded in cutting them off but the men just managed to get away.
