One driver lost control and smashed through walls and fences, crashing into over a dozen parked cars in the process. Retired driver Victor Winton, 74, said: "All the walls were demolished one way or another, whether they were brick walls or wooden fences. "Our two cars were written off and our house is structurally damaged. "The car came through our neighbour's front wall, taking a double gate down as well. "It knocked down half of her fence and pushed my wife's car into the house and into my car.
