This is the moment an alleged thief uses a pair of bolt cutters to break through a bicycle lock on a busy street - as he is filmed by a stunned onlooker. The footage captured by a passer-by shows a man hacking away at the lock which was used to chain up a bicycle in Bristol. Other members of the public can be seen walking by and looking at him when he finally breaks through and makes off with the bicycle. It was filmed by a quick-thinking passerby who challenged the alleged thief asking him if he went home to get his bolt cutters. The man mumbles a quick reply, and carries on trying to break the lock.
