A teenager has taken to the skies for his first flight as a solo pilot - a year before he can even begin to learn to drive a car. Video footage taken from the cockpit shows the stunning countryside views enjoyed by 16-year-old Harvey Jones as he went for his first solo flight. And the teen, who hopes to train for a commercial pilot licence after his A-Levels, said he wasn't even expecting to take to the skies unaccompanied - but that it was a "pretty amazing" feeling. "I was very nervous for my first solo as it wasn't planned, it just happened on the day," said Harvey.
