On Thursday Manchester United confirmed the signing of PSV wonderkid Memphis Depay, despite interest from PSG and Liverpool.

Today, he played his final home game in a PSV shirt, scoring a fabulous 35 yard free kick for the Dutch champions.

After the 2-0 win, Memphis Depay gave his first English interview since agreeing a move to Old Trafford and admitted that he came very close to signing with PSG.

The 21 year old winger said that Louis van Gaal swooped in at the “last moment” and convinced him to sign for Man United.
