This is the moment heroic coastguards rescued a reveller who injured himself while 'tombstoning' in front of his pals.

The footage was released by HM Coastguard as a warning after the victim jumped into the sea from a cove built into the cliffs at Flamborough, East Yorks.

The un-named man suffered injuries after jumping into rocky waters and a rescue operation was launched at 1.45pm on Wednesday (October 18).
