Tab Hunter and Anthony Perkins Love Drama in the Works ‘The Hollywood Reporter’
released details Paramount Pictures is the studio behind ‘Tab & Tony,’ which will explore Hunter’s first-person account of coming to terms with being gay in the 50s. He and Perkins are considered two of the most popular actors of the Golden Age in Hollywood. Hunter’s resume includes over 40 films, and Perkins is best known for playing Norman Bates in Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘Psycho.’ Perkins died of AIDS-related pneumonia in 1992, and Hunter will be 87 years old in July. The project is currently seeking a director and male actors for the two lead roles.
