Officials at the U.S. State Department believe National Security Advisor John Bolton made controversial remarks during a recent TV interview in a bid to to deliberately disrupt talks with North Korea.
According to CNN,... State Department officials believe Bolton tried to 'blow up' the North Korea talks,... by suggesting last month that North Korea follow the "Libya model' of denuclearization.
Sources say that there has been "considerable tension" between Bolton and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo,... after Pompeo angrily confronted Bolton of the Libya comment.
The National Security Council denies there was any such confrontation.
