Neoliberalism strikes again... There is power in land, and it is clear the proponents of capitalism know this. So... the neocolonialist Prime Minister of Antigua, Gaston Brown, has recruited Hollywood actor Robert DeNiro to be the 'new' face of interest in securing land in the interest of capitalism, at the expense of the Barbudan people.

As people are focused on DeNiro's selective outrage regarding Trump; DeNiro is performing the same actions as Trump, grabbing up land in hopes of profiting off the effects. DeNiro is doing it under the auspices of 'compassion'. As Barbudans have lived sustainably for many years, the presence of a resort (and more) would definitely effect the economy and ecological balance, neither which would be beneficial to the people.
