Musa Safri, a former aide-de-camp to Najib Abdul Razak during his tenure as deputy prime minister, was named in a police report to kick-start fresh investigations into the murder of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.
The report was lodged by Altantuya's father Setev Shaariibuu. His lawyer Ramkarpal Singh stressed that no one was named as a suspect in the report.
Musa was the superior officer to ex-police commandos Azilah Hadri and Sirul Azhar Umar, both of whom were convicted for Altantuya's murder.
