Police in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, released CCTV footage showing a female jogger fending off an attacker whom police say attempted to sexually assault and abduct her on June 17.
Police arrested a man, "Gordon Lyons ":https://bridgewaterpolice.org/2018/06/18/video-bridgewater-police-release-video-of-alleged-attempted-abduction-and-sexual-assault-of-female-jogger/, from Main Street in Bridgewater, after the incident. He was charged with kidnapping and indecent assault and battery.
In the footage, a car police identified as belonging to Lyons can be seen pulling over in front of the victim. A man can then be seen getting out of the car, grabbing the woman and trying to pull her towards his car. Police said the man sexually assaulted her at this time.
The man can be seen fleeing the scene, and according to a police report, was involved in a car crash a short time later.
