A Scottish dad’s Father’s Day was tainted after he found out that his son had spent almost £600 on Fortnite purchases for his Xbox console.
A video shared to Facebook by Courtney Baxter on June 17 shows her father, Neilson, giving out to her younger brother, Lennon, after realizing that the 12-year-old had used his card to buy Fortnite add-ons.
The 47-year-old dad said in a report that Lennon didn’t realize what he had done. “Lennon was absolutely shocked by what had happened and he’s apologized. He said he’d never ever do it again.”
He also added that Microsoft were very understanding of his situation: “When I called them and explained what had happened they were happy to put the money back in my account. I was angry and shocked at the time but now that it’s been cleared I find it quite funny."
