A fresh case of tax evasion has been filed against Karnataka Water Resources Minister DK Shivakumar. This is the 4th case that has come to haunt the congress leader who is currently on bail in 3 other tax evasion cases. The case was reportedly filed in connection with Rs 4.03 lakh seized from one of the apartments owned by Shivakumar in Safdarjung, New Delhi, which Shivakumar reportedly claimed was agricultural income. In addition, there were separate seizures of over a crore from a flat in the Karnataka state employee’s quarters. Shivakumar has dismissed the allegations and that he has not received any summons yet.
