In El Salvador, the National Liberation Front or FMNL held its 35th national convention over the weekend to discuss coalitions for the 2019 presidential elections, more than 800 people participated in the convention. The FMLN will fight to secure a third left-wing government and believe that a people-centered approach is vital to securing it. The presidential candidate, Hugo Martinez, said he is open to alliances with other parties.
