This week I'm warming up with a hearty bowl of Chicken Udon soup form Japan Express at Philadelphia Mills.

Soup that eats like a meal

An old soup commercial once said its brand of soups ate like a meal. That's certainly the case with the Chicken Udon Soup at Japan Express.

Udon noodles don't always get as much publicity as ramen noodles (more widely known) and soba noodles (they're gluten free)

That's a pity, since udon noodles are really filling and tasty, and this bowl of udon wasn't an exception.

What's in this bow of Chicken Udon Soup?

This bowl had cabbage, carrots, and broccoli in chicken stock
with the udon noodles and lots of tasty grilled chicken.

Put that all together and that's one hearty chicken soup!
