Good morning. Monsoon rains are battering the southern coastal regions today.
The rain has picked up compared to earlier, and heavy rain alerts have been expanded to more areas.
Busan is under a heavy rain warning now, while Gwangju, Jeju Island and the southern coastal regions are under advisories.
Up to 150 millimeters of rain could come down, and the central regions could see passing showers in the evening.
Temperature-wise, southern regions will notice highs 1 to 5 degrees lower than yesterday, Gyeongju, Daejeon and Daegu will get up to 27 degrees Celsius. Seoul will be warm and humid getting up to 28 degrees.
