President Donald Trump wants the legislative filibuster to end. But according to Politico, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell keeps saying no. McConnell said: “As I’ve told him repeatedly, the votes aren’t there to change it.” McConnell said that it is just not him preventing the filibuster from ending. Trump told lawmakers to change the rules before Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer does.
