The US Vice President Mike Pence is in Ecuador to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations. He is also expected to continue to seek regional support against the government of Venezuela. Pence arrived in Quito on Wednesday, on the second leg of his Latin American tour. He will meet president Lenin Moreno in the coming hours.
