Fire crews worked to contain a large wildfire burning in Yolo County’s Rumsey Canyon on Monday, July 1. This video shows the fire flaring up overnight.
The blaze, dubbed the County Fire, ignited on June 30, and had burned 60,000 acres as of Monday evening. Mandatory evacuation orders were issued for various parts of Yolo County, including north of Highway 128, south of County Road 23, and east of Berryessa Knoxville Road, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
