A Sikh girl who joined Islamic university of science & technology in South Kashmir was allegedly being forced to convert to Islam. The girl was allegedly asked to observe fast during Ramzan, to wear a head scarf like other Muslim girls & when she refused, boys tried to strangulate & stab her. The girl's family have alleged that they are receiving threatening calls. The case has been registered but no arrests have been made yet.
