A college in memory of Kashmiri freedom activist Burhan Wani opens in Ambore, Muzafarabad, Azad Kashmir.
July 8 marks the shahadat anniversary of one of the greatest freedom icons in recent times, Burhan Muzzafar Wani, a 22 year old Kashmir freedom activist who’s martyrdom at the hands of Indian occupation forces gave a whole new life to Kashmir freedom cause. The college itself speaks for the conviction of Kashmiri people towards their cause of fighting Indian atrocities, but not with the gun, rather with the pen. This new generation of Kashmiris is determined to raise their voice against oppression, following the footsteps of Burhan Wani, solely with the power of pen, for pen is mightier than sword.
