North Korea and the U.S. are heading toward the same goal,... as seen through the recently held working-level talks between the two sides.
That's what Seoul's Unification Minister pointed out at an international conference hosted by the Research Institute for National Security Affairs on Monday
Cho Myoung-Gyon, believes it will take time for Pyongyang and Washington to narrow their differences,... but expressed hope the denuclearization process would keep moving forward.
He described last week's inter-Korean basketball games as a good opportunity to meet government officials from the regime and discuss future plans to implement the Panmunjom declaration.
The minister added, his country will further strengthen relations with the North through another summit in the fall,... and will work with the international community to establish peace on the Peninsula.
