In a significant development, Attorney General KK Venugopal has recued himself from the section 377 case that is being heard in Supreme Court. He said that his views are different from that of the government and hence he has decided not to appear in this case. By saying so, KK Venugopal virtually made it clear that the government would opt for status-quo in the Supreme Court.
