3 Different Ways to Install VLC on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?

Install Via Firefox Browser:-

Step 1: Open Firefox.

Step 2: Type command below:

apt://vlc

and Hit Enter, and follow the process.


Install Via Terminal:-

Step 1: Right click on the Desktop, and then click on 'Terminal'.

Step 2: Type below command to update repositories:

sudo apt update

and hit enter, provide your password.

Step 3: Now, to Instal VLC, type the command below:-

sudo apt install vlc

and Hit enter and provide your password.

Step 4: After installing, type 'vlc' without quotes to Open VLC.


Install via Ubuntu Software:


Step 1: Open Ubuntu Software.

Step 2: Do a search for VLC Media Player.

Step 3: Install it.
