The Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha managed to clock in full working day on the first day of the monsoon session thanks to minimal interruptions. This comes as great relief considering what had happened in the last session. However, the session is off to a rocky start with the no-trust motion being accepted. The government will be facing the no trust motion tomorrow, a first in the last 15 years. While the government has the numbers to sail through, the no-confidence motion is a bigger test of opposition unity ahead of the crucial 2019 elections.
