According to Reuters, the US dollar pulled back from a year-high after President Donald Trump expressed concerns about interest rate hikes.
For the last three days, the US dollar index has been on the rise, gaining more than a percent when compared to six other major currencies.
In contrast, the euro has fallen with the dollar's gains.
During an interview with CNBC, President Trump said he's not thrilled with interest rates going up, adding that a strong dollar puts the nation at a disadvantage.
