Katahdin Paper Mill, located in Millinocket, Maine… is scheduled to close its doors forever and affecting 208 mill workers with job loss due to the high cost of oil.

A mill spokesman said that a small number of workers will continue with cleanup and mothballing operations until layoffs take into effect.

The company plans to convert the mill from oil-burning to biomass.
