A possible tornado was spotted swirling through the sky in Opelika, Alabama, on the evening of July 21

The tornado reportedly touched down near Opelika, causing some damage to mobile homes, trees and power lines, according to Lee County Emergency Management Agency. No injuries were reported at the time of writing.

A severe thunderstorm warning had been issued for the area until 6:30 pm.
