Flash flooding filled the streets and closed roads in Tremont, Pennsylvania, on July 23, after heavy rain was expected in the area, according to ABC 27.

The National Weather Service reported a serious flood threat for central Pennsylvania throughout the week. Large amounts of rain were expected for the area.
Schuylkill County Emergency Management Agency Director John M. Matz said Pine Grove Borough, Porter Township, Pine Grove Township, Tremont Township, Frailey Township and the Tremont Borough areas were hit the hardest, according to the PA Homepage.
The Swatara Creek was reported flooded in Pine Grove and Tremont.
