날씨: 소나기 습도만 더 높여
Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. Cloudy skies today pulled the mercury down a few notches. Also, there are sporadic showers expected in the northern provinces and on Jeju today. But it's not enough to stop this heat. In fact, rain will only make it more humid and sticky.
The nation will still be under a heat dome tomorrow. And more sporadic showers are expected just like today. But Tokyo will finally get some relief under grey skies.
Hope you are staying cool and getting a good rest at night. It'll be another tropical night, and we'll start tomorrow morning at 26 degrees Celsius in Seoul.
As usual, the heatwave awaits us during the day -- Seoul topping out at 34 degrees, Gwangju and Daegu scorching at 36 and 38 degrees.
We are desperately in need of rain, which we could get from Typhoon Jongdari... forecast to pass about 350 kilometers east of South Korea's Dokdo Island by next Monday. On its current trajectory it's only expected to have a small impact on the Peninsula, but that could bring some relief from the heat.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
