The Irish Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs has said to unionists that they have "nothing to fear from a British-Irish Intergovernmental Conference". The conference convened on Wednesday in London for the first time in 11 years as British and Irish ministers seek to make progress on restoring the power-sharing executive in Northern Ireland. However, unionists have been critical of the conference, with former Northern Ireland first minister Lord Trimble accusing Dublin of "meddling". Report by Jonesia.
