Parts of Washington endured flash flooding on Wednesday, July 25, after storms hit swept through the District of Columbia and Maryland.
This video of a flooded street was captured by eyewitness Anne Dougherty.
Residents were warned to avoid flooded roads and told to be aware of the risk that trees could fall as a result of the wet ground, local radio station WTOP-FM reported.
