Supporters of Imran Khan celebrated in Lahore late on July 25 as early results indicated the former cricket star was on course to win Pakistan’s general election, Radio Free Europe reported.
In Lahore, Khan’s PTI party was ahead of the ruling party PML-N by over 30,000 votes early on July 26, Dawn.com reported.
The PML-N party said it would reject the general election result, due to what it described as vote-rigging and manipulation. Credit: Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty via Storyful
