Photographer Brendan Calwell captured the July 28 lunar eclipse from the beautiful Point Roadknight in Anglesea, Victoria.

This lunar eclipse was the longest such event of the 21st century, and caused the moon to turn a deep red when the sun, earth, and moon lined up, casting Earth’s shadow on the moon.

The total eclipse lasted one hour, 42 minutes and 57 seconds. Credit: Brendan Calwell via Storyful
