Northamptonshire County Council will hold crisis talks on Wednesday evening as they develop a budget recovery programme. The council needs to save £70m by March 2019 which could see cuts to services for vulnerable children and adults. Council leader Matthew Golby said that the meeting would be about how to "reset and define what the priorities of the council are". Report by Jonesia.
