A deadly earthquake off the Indonesian island of Lombok killed at least 91 people and injured hundreds more on Sunday, August 5.

Hundreds of people were evacuated from the Gili Islands, an archipelago near northwest Lombok, on Monday, August 6, after the earthquake, as seen in this video.

Meanwhile national disaster agency spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said three ships were used to transfer about 1,000 people from the islands to safety, local news site Detik News reported. No casualties were reported. Credit: BNPB/Indonesian National Police via Storyful
