Drone footage shows piles of dead fish washed up on the shore of Casey Key beach, Florida, on August 5, as reports of a severe algae bloom called red tide has been reported to be killing marine life.

The footage shows Casey Key on August 5 compared to two months ago, when clear seas and shores were seen, the uploader said.

Florida’s tourism industry has also been affected by the red tide as media reports describe algae blooms in Southwest Florida killing marine life. Credit: Cody (@codesthedrones) via Storyful
