This video shows the launch of Germany's first aircraft carrier, the Graf Zeppelin, in 1938. Never completed, work on her suffered delay after delay, until she was scuttled on 25 April 1945. Her hulk was captured by the Soviets and used for demolitions testing by them in 1947 after which she was sunk by a Soviet destroyer.
