A rocket attack targeted the presidential palace in Kabul, Afghanistan, during a televised speech by President Ashraf Ghani to mark Eid al-Adha on August 21. There were also reports of rockets landing in other parts of the city.
Najib Danish, a spokesman with the interior ministry, told Tolo News that rockets landed in four different areas of the city.
The attack came two days after Ghani announced a ceasefire, “provided that the Taliban reciprocate.”
