Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus have reportedly split.



The 46-year-old actor had been dating the 'Saturday Night Live' producer for over a year, but sources now say the pair have called it quits.



An insider told 'Entertainment Tonight': "They really tried to make it work and they just couldn't right now. Their families came first, but ultimately having a bi-coastal relationship was difficult. They're amicable."



The news comes after Ben was recently spotted with 22-year-old Playboy model Shauna Sexton, sparking rumours of a romance between the pair.
