Ingredients:
1 ltr. Full fat Milk
100 grams Rice, soaked
150 grams Jaggery
1 tsp Ghee
50 grams Cashews
50 grams Almonds
50 grams Raisins
1 tsp Green Cardamom
Generous pinch of Kesar
Method of preparation:
Heat ghee in a vessel, add rice, stir it until it becomes nice and fragrant.
Add milk, cook it until it becomes nice and thick.
Add jaggery, saffron, green cardamom, give it a stir and allow the jaggery to melt completely.
In another pan, heat ghee, add nuts and stir them occasionally till them turn golden in color.
Transfer 3/4 quantity of the nuts to the payasam, give it a stir and our Payasam is ready to serve.
Take the Payasam out in a serving bowl and garnish it with the left nuts.
