Sardar Usman Ahmad Buzdar-The CM Punjab
Sardar Usman Buzdar belongs to Taunsa-Sharif, a tribal
area in Dera Ghazi Khan(DG Khan) with no electricity.
He is the son of Fateh Muhammad Khan Buzdar, Chief
of Buzdar Tribe and three times MPA from the same
constituency(1985, 2002, 2008).
He has Bachelors degree in Law and Masters degree in
Political Science.
He won PP-286 seat in 2018 general elections by
securing 26,897 votes.
He also remained Tehsil Nazim of Taunsa from 2001 to
2005 in Musharraf Era.
He remained in PML-Q from 2002 to 2011.
Later he joined PML-N and contested 2013 election on
PML-N ticket and lost.
He then joined Janoobi Punjab Suba Mahaaz in the
leadership of Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar.
Janoobi Punjab Suba Mahaz later merged into PTI
before 2018 general elections.
Sardar Usman Ahmed Buzdar is very close to Jahangir
Tareen and considered as his Yes Man.
Sardar Usman Buzdar is not a known politician but a
very good administrator.
He is nominated as CM Punjab because he belongs to
the most backward and least developed area of
Punjab.
His appointment may bring South Punjab out of
miseries.
