A man scaled a fence and ran onto a runway at Los Angeles International Airport on August 27, causing a Delta Airlines plane to be grounded for security purposes.

The incident happened just before 1:30 pm. Some passengers on the plane said they saw the man began doing push-ups and sprints, local media reported.

The man was later arrested and a full sweep of the area was conducted, and airport activity was resumed by 2 pm. It is not known if the man was armed or potentially dangerous.
